The wet palette is a tool, used especially by miniature painters and modelers, that keeps acrylic paints moist and manageable for longer.

It consists of an airtight container containing a moistened sponge, covered with a special paper sheet that allows moisture to pass through.

The container consists of a lid and a base, with a rubber gasket that ensures tightness and maintains internal humidity for a long time.

The sponge and the water needed to keep it moist are placed in the base.

The moisturizing sponge is one of the key components of a wet palette. Its main function is to retain water and provide a constant source of moisture to the palette paper, preventing the acrylic paints from drying out quickly.

The moisturizing paper allows moisture to reach the surface from the sponge, and is strong enough to prevent it from breaking or decomposing upon contact with paints.
