PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
With this project we want to move towards a new business model that adapts to the new industrial stage, where new technologies and internet take on a fundamental role, achieving cost reduction, increasing operational efficiency, simplifying maintenance and support, reducing the risk of failures and having a greater response capacity.
Our main objectives are:
Improve warehouse efficiency
Optimize orders to suppliers
Integrate the entire system of customers, suppliers, invoicing and orders.
Include e-commerce on the website and link to ERP.
RESULTS OBTAINED WITH THE PROJECT
Sigma ERP is a management program specifically adapted to our needs. It has allowed us to implement the entire system of suppliers, customers, orders and online sales as well as the daily management of the company.
It allows us greater work efficiency and business control and above all a better response to the needs of our customers. We also have unified and accurate information that directly optimizes decision making.
We have implemented a warehouse automation system by installing cloud access points and PDAs that together with a barcode system and its subsequent connection to the management program have managed to improve the efficiency of the warehouse. This new system allows us to avoid errors and streamline the process so that our customers receive their orders as soon as possible and in the best way.
Finally, thanks to the implementation of e-commerce and its connection to the Sigma ERP management system, our customers can use this service to request their orders, achieving greater control, both on their part and ours, of the items that make up each order, with articles and number of units, also helping to have a better sales forecast.
